College Advising

At HART, every student participates in a comprehensive College & Career Readiness program designed to prepare them for success after high school. Through regular advisory lessons, workshops, and individualized support, students gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to pursue ambitious post-secondary goals.

Our dedicated College & Career Advisors work closely with students and families throughout the high school journey. Advisors build meaningful relationships with students, helping them explore their interests, identify their strengths, and develop the most rigorous and rewarding post-high school plan possible.

Our College & Career Advisory Program Aims To:

• Foster a college-going culture where higher education and career readiness are viewed as achievable and expected pathways for all students.

• Guide and support families through every stage of the college planning and application process, ensuring they are informed, empowered, and actively involved.

• Simplify the college application and financial aid process by helping students overcome obstacles and stay on track toward successful matriculation.

• Provide enrichment opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, helping students prepare academically, socially, and emotionally for college and career success.

• Develop essential lifelong skills such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence, communication, self-advocacy, and resilience.
