Software Engineering & Game Design
Our Software Engineering program is a Computer Science-based program that includes the exploration of art, design, animation, and code for game development. We use Unity3D as the game engine and platform for video game engineering. Students learn how to use the Unity editor and program in C++, thereby preparing them for careers not just in video game development, but also in Computer Science. In our Computer Science classes, students learn programming languages such as Java and Python, as well as design using HTML and JavaScript, alongside design thinking, game design, data structures, and cybersecurity. Students are also engaged in critical game analysis and systems thinking to establish a foundational background in games. Students learn from industry-experienced and accredited teachers using industry-standard animation and game production tools, so they become art and design professionals. E-sports, Virtual Reality(VR) and Artificial Intelligence(AI) are components of this program.
